Hot flashes just aren't fun!Let me explain a hot flash.
One minute you're comfortable and then suddenly you feel like you're in an oven.
You may say I'm too young to have a hot flash and yes, I think you're right. But I had a hysterectomy in 2000. I've been on hormone replacement therapy for 8 years and it has kept those nasty hot flashes, night sweats and mood swings at bay.
BUT, we recently moved and my new doctor stopped my hormone prescription due to the increased risk of breast cancer, heart disease and stroke.
And here we are. It's a bit warm in here!
